How We Review: What Gets Checked, and What Nobody Outside an Account Can Check
This site publishes figures for games, where the studio has already done the work, and sentences for operators, where nobody has. The difference matters enough to write down. Below is the list of things we check, the exact point at which checking becomes guessing, and what commercial arrangements do and do not buy here. JILI999 is an independent guide: not a casino, no deposits, no games, no scores, no operator rankings. 21+.
The criteria
Eight questions, the same eight every time, each with an answer that is either published or missing. Where it is missing, that absence is the finding and gets written down as one.
| Criterion | Evidence we look for | What we can say afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| Licence disclosure | A named regulator and licence identity in text, matched against that regulator's published list | That the claim exists and whether it appears on the list, as at the date on the page |
| Payment rails | The specific wallets and transfer networks named in the cashier, and whether site and app agree | Which rails are offered. Never how fast or how much, which belong to the operator |
| Terms clarity | How quickly wagering, expiry, maximum bet during a bonus and withdrawal conditions can be found | A direct judgement, because this is a test of a document we can open |
| KYC rules | Whether identity requirements are stated before deposit, and which documents are listed | What the policy says. Not how it was applied to any individual account |
| Complaint route | A named internal escalation and a named external one, reachable without asking an agent | Whether a route is published. Not whether it resolves anything |
| Responsible-gaming tools | Deposit and loss limits, reminders, cool-off, self-exclusion, and whether they are self-serve | That they are offered, and how they are described |
| Support channels | Which channels exist, their stated hours, and whether each is controlled by the operator | What exists. Not how well it answers |
| App distribution | How the operator expects installation to happen, and whether it is honest about sideloading | A direct judgement, because distribution practice is visible from outside |
The line between verified and claimed
Our wording follows the evidence. The operator states and the page claims mean we read it and could not confirm it. The terms say and the cashier lists mean you can open the same document and see the same thing. We try never to let the second form of words cover the first, because that substitution is what makes most review sites unreadable.
- Checkable from outside an account: published licence claims, terms wording, cashier rails, support channels, complaint routes, install practices, responsible-gaming tool lists
- Not checkable from outside an account: payout speed, fees, minimums, verification decisions, support quality under pressure, whether any individual was treated fairly
- Not checkable by anyone: that a game is due to pay, that any system beats a house edge, or that one session says anything about a published RTP
No scores, and why that is not modesty
A score implies a measurement, a scale and a weighting. For an operator we have none of them. We can report that a wagering requirement took ten minutes to locate; we cannot honestly fold that into 7.8 and place it beside a payout speed we never observed. A number would make these pages easier to skim and significantly less true, which is a bad trade.
It also rules out a ranked table of operators. Games can be ranked because their published figures are comparable. Operators cannot, because the inputs are assertions, and ranking assertions produces a league table of marketing budgets.
What a commercial link does not buy
Some outbound links here may be partner links, which can pay a commission if a reader signs up after following one. That funds the site. It does not purchase a word of it. No payment adds a flattering adjective, moves anything up a page, removes a criticism, or gets an operator a preview before publication.
The test you should use on any site, including this one: look for the sentence that is unflattering to the thing being linked. If no page can produce one, you are reading advertising with a review's furniture.
When a page is revised
A page changes when the thing it describes changes: a licence claim appears or disappears, a terms document is reissued, a rail is dropped, a channel closes. The date on the page is when that check happened. And a demonstration that something here is factually wrong is a reason to rewrite it, which is the only reason that reliably works.
The standing disclosures
- A guide, not an operator: nothing here accepts a deposit or deals a card.
- Nobody here has tested a withdrawal or timed a payout, and no page will claim otherwise.
- There is no named human reviewer offered as an authority, because an unverifiable byline is not evidence.
- Operator-specific numbers are the operator's to publish, and the cashier page is where to read them.
- Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over and costs money over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why no rating out of ten?
Because a rating implies a measurement, and the inputs for an operator are mostly claims. Findings are published as sentences and the weighing is left to you.
Are the links paid?
Some may be partner links that pay a commission after a sign-up. No payment changes wording, order or criticism, and no operator sees a page before publication.
Why will you not publish payout times?
We have not measured one and cannot do so fairly. Payout timing, fees and minimums are set by the operator and published in its cashier, and that is where to check them.
Who writes this?
The criteria are published instead of a byline. Judge the pages by whether each claim traces back to a document you can open yourself.
Can you contact an operator on my behalf?
No. This site has no access to any account and cannot move money or settle a dispute. The route is operator support, then your e-wallet or bank through their own app, then the regulator, then the cybercrime authorities.
Before You Choose an Operator
Compare PAGCOR-licensed operators, read the bonus terms and set a budget before you deposit.
